Platform-specific title rules
Amazon — 200 characters max, but search algorithm weighs first 80 chars most. Required format: brand + model + key feature + variant. Caps on promotional words ('best', 'sale', 'cheap').
Shopify — No hard limit, but Google truncates search results at 60-70 chars. Same front-loading rule applies. Free-form, no required structure.
Etsy — 140 characters max. Etsy's algorithm weighs every word in the title; keyword-stuffing tolerated more here than Amazon. Lead with primary keyword phrase.
