How to connect
Connect with your Bluesky handle and an app password generated in Bluesky's settings, so your main Bluesky password is never shared.

Your data is safe
Bluesky uses an app password rather than OAuth, so you create a dedicated, revocable password instead of sharing your main one. It is encrypted at rest and can be revoked from Bluesky at any time.

Related integrations
Only if you want Bluesky DMs in the inbox. Posting, analytics, replies, mentions and quotes all work with a plain app password. For DMs, turn on direct message access when you create the password in Bluesky's App passwords settings. If you skipped it, create a new app password with that access and connect the account again with it.
Yes, 300 characters. Bluesky counts graphemes, so an emoji or an accented letter counts as one, and Social media studio counts the same way. It doesn't shorten a longer post for you: the post fails when it's due, so trim it before scheduling. The automatic first comment, posted as a reply under your post, has the same limit.
Up to four images in JPEG, PNG or WebP, each up to 2 MB, or one MP4 video of up to 100 MB and three minutes. A post carries images or a video, never both. Images over about 1 MB are recompressed as JPEG before upload, and images go out without alt text.
Within about a minute. Social media studio checks Bluesky every minute for new replies, mentions, quotes and DMs, rather than receiving them instantly. Replies you send from the inbox are text only, and liking, reposting or hiding replies is still done in the Bluesky app.
